Welcome to the Monday-Verse!

There hasn't been much news, Guardians-wise, in the past couple of days but I wanted to give some updates on the site.

• First off, the site has almost reached 2000 hits since I started it two weeks ago. Most of the hits have come from Reddit (mainly due to my plugging it on there). It's been great and I think we're starting to get a lot of repeat visitors.

• Since beginning the site, I've added a few cool features. The first one I added was a poll on the right side of the page. I will be posting the results and putting up a new question every Tuesday. That means there is about 24-more hours to vote on 'Who is your favorite current Guardian?' Right now, Rocket Raccoon is strongly in the lead. Make sure you get your vote in by tomorrow morning!

• The second feature I added was the 'Meet the Guardians' section at the top of the page. On that page, you will see a button for each current member of the Guardians. I know these aren't the only characters who have been Guardians of the Galaxy, but they are the ones that Marvel has chosen to represent the title. If you click each character, it will take you to a page which gives a little background and history of each character. I'll add more facts for each character as time goes by. Eventually, I will be adding information about the past Guardians too (Cosmo, Mantis, Adam Warlock, etc.), but for right now, I can only manage to focus on the current run of comics and team.

• Lastly, below the poll, there is a release schedule for everything Guardians. In case you haven't been keeping up, the new Nova comic series has been featuring Rocket Raccoon and Gamora so make sure you check that out.

• Also, I want to say something about the direction that Marvel has been taking their cosmic titles. Yes, I know that Marvel is sort of rebooting everything, but I personally think it's great. I'd rather have some cosmic than no cosmic. As much as I miss Richard Rider, I am truly getting into this new Nova title. I think it will just take a little getting used to. And Bendis' current Guardians run is great! The art, the story, the characters, etc. are all superb. I know we are only two issues in, but I'm loving every minute of it! I only wish Star-Lord had his awesome mask. Who knows, maybe it will make a reappearance.
