Jim Starlin Confirms Thanos for Guardians?

At a recent convention, Jim Starlin, creator of the character Thanos and many other Marvel Cosmic characters, spoke with fans about Thanos' role in upcoming Marvel Studios films, including Guardians of the Galaxy and The Avengers 2. According to the video below, Starlin believes that Thanos will make an appearance in the Guardians film. Here's the quote:

"Thanos plays sort of a good role inside the Guardians."

It is unknown whether or not Starlin has his facts right, but I would be very surprised if this was not the case. Having Guardians of the Galaxy without an appearance from Thanos would be a big waste. Now, the real question is, what did Starlin mean by "Thanos plays sort of a good role"? Does he mean that Thanos will help the Guardians or does he mean that Thanos will have a decent sized role? My bet is on the latter.
