According to
JoBlo, Ronan the Accuser is going to be the villian of next year's
Guardians of the Galaxy film. For those of you who don't know, Ronan the Accuser is a member of the Kree, an alien species featured heavily in Marvel comics. He has often been a villian, although in the Annilation series, he joined forces with the Silver Surfer and Nova to take down the cancerverse. Ronan possesses super-strength among other abilities. As JoBlo, points out, this could be setting up the Kree-Skrull War for
Avengers 2, but honestly, the possibilities are endless. I'm guessing we will see a lot of Cosmic Marvel characters in the film, and some of them may only play small roles, so the rumor that Ronan is in the movie could very well be true. Take this with a grain of salt. In this day and age of internet rumors, it could be proven false tomorrow. Stay tuned for an official announcement. Until then, head on over to

I wish Marvel could get the rights to the Silver Surfer and Galactus back. It would be awesome to see those two done correctly on the big screen. I'm willing to pretend that FF2 never happened
ReplyDeleteTell me about it. Those two characters are going to be wasted by Fox. Silver Surfer and Galactus should have never been linked with Fantastic Four in that deal. They would be used much better in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
