Guardians of the Galaxy On Ultimate Spider-Man

After hearing rumors that Marvel was creating a Guardians of the Galaxy animated series, many fans of the lesser known Marvel heroes got very excited. Not only are we in for a GOTG movie, but if the rumors are correct, we will be getting our fill of the Guardians on a weekly basis. These are still just rumors, however, but now we have some actual news on the animated Guardians. This Sunday, July 21st at 11:30am on the Disney XD television channel, the newest episode of Ultimate Spider-Man will feature none other than our ragtag band of misfits, the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Marvel has released a couple of promo images (featured above and to the right) and it looks like they are using a mix of the Guardians' dNa look and their current look. For the next year, Guardians fans can expect to see Guardians of the Galaxy brought to the forefront of everything Marvel in an effort to educate the general public. The immensely popular Spider-Man show should help in that effort.
