UPDATED: Footage Shown at Marvel Showcase in London

UPDATED: Attendants of the Marvel Showcase have confirmed that Marvel did indeed show footage from Guardians of the Galaxy. It is believed to be the same footage from D23/Comic-Con, but if we find out different, we'll let you know!

Tonight (Sep. 5th, 2013) in London, Marvel will be hosting a "Marvel Showcase," which will mostly feature exclusive content from the upcoming Iron Man 3 Bluray/DVD. The only reason we mention it is because of the description of the event, which features this quote:

"there will be several very special surprises in store from the Marvel universe…"

Now, this could really mean anything. Tom Hiddleston may show up in a tiara for all I know. However, with Guardians of the Galaxy currently filming near London, there's a possibility that somebody from the cast and crew may show up. Marvel may even show clips from the film, whether it be the Comic-Con footage or a brand-new reel. While this is all speculation, if you are a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and are in the London area tonight, this will be something you don't want to miss.
