So, according to Latino Review, who have been known to get some things wrong (and some things right), "The Controller" will act as "Thanos' henchman and ambassador" in the Guardians of the Galaxy film. For those of you who don't know much about 'The Controller,' here is his Wikipedia Page. Apparently, Thanos and The Controller have a history in the comics. Thanos, at one point, freed The Controller from prison and promised that he could rule the earth. I wonder if this will lead into 'The Avengers 2'? Maybe the Guardians will lock The Controller up at the end of 'GOTG' and 'The Avengers 2' will start with Thanos freeing him. The possibilities are endless, really. As someone who doesn't know much about The Controller, this news doesn't really affect me either way. I just hope whoever plays the villian is a worthy adversary for our ragtag group of "space avengers".
First off the Avengers and GOTG are not based in the same time period, GOTG takes place in the 31st century and the Avengers is obviously in the 21st.
ReplyDeleteso your theory is screwed. If anything GOTG is going to be The Controller releasing Thanos from his prison that The Avengers put him in.
