A Few More Comic-Con Tidbits

There were many announcements made at Comic-Con about Guardians of the Galaxy. We've decided to list a few above.

- Director James Gunn confirmed at Comic-Con that Thanos would in fact be appearing in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

- He also confirmed that a casting announcement for Rocket Raccoon and Groot would be coming soon.

- James Gunn on Rocket Raccoon: "It's not about creating Bugs Bunny in the middle of The Avengers. This is about creating a character that's a little animal that was taken and experimented on and pulled apart and put back together again and implanted with cybernetics and he's half-machine and half-raccoon. And he's a gnarled, miserable, pretty-angry creature because there's nothing else like him. And that's [something] not easy to be."

- Chris Pratt was chosen to play Star-Lord over "two dozen big name stars" because of his ability to keep up with Robert Downey Jr. should the two ever appear on screen together.

-Last, but not least, Star-Lord's famous helmet/mask will be appearing in the film. On Sunday, Marvel had a table set up, displaying Star-Lord's costumes and guns. Here are some pictures:

    The helmet looks like a ripoff of Hunk's helmet.
