    This is exactly what I've been itching for, for days now. This movie is going to be so awesome. It'll sit next to Serenity and and Avengers.

      No way. i dont know who any of them are. i dont read comics.. this movie is gonna be an introduction to all of the characters, whom by the way look kinda cool...but an alien racoon??? a hulk tree??? the trees from LOTR looked better.... All of the avengers (the important ones) have movies of their own so people that dont read comics but have watched cartoons (like myself) with 'em went to watch the movies. When the avengers came out the same people that went to watch those movies went because even if they werent a fan of captain america per say the movie had many other super heroes (iron man, hulk, thor,) to identify with. This guardians movie does not really have any backstory for the other people that doesnt read comics (which would be the ones, like myself, that would make the movie a blockbuster) to identify with. will it do good? probably...will it surpass the avengers? no way. I would like to see a trailer though...that picture doesnt get me interested at all.

    Thank you so much for posting this, guys. I have been looking forward to this movie for so long now and my excitement for The Avengers: Age Of Ultron pales only in comparison to my excitement for this movie. Were it not for you guys I probably would not have seen this trailer before it was taken down. I haven't been able to stop watching the footage and it is more glorious than I ever could have imagined. As a fanatic of the 2008 Guardians Of The Galaxy series, this is THE Marvel movie as far as I am concerned, and I got to see a little sneak peek of it, thanks to you. Cheers!

      So far James Gunn has been pretty true to the comics. That's such a cool aspect of Groot that I doubt they'll change it.

    I heard somewhere that there is a version of Groot that says more than "I am Groot". Is this true, and if so, could they possibly go with that version so Vin Diesel will have more lines?

      Well, in his original appearance he says "Behold, I am Groot! Who dares to defy me?" on the cover. And it wasn't in his speech bubble, but in one of the first few issues of the 2008 run he was talking to Mantis and Vance Astro asked her what he was saying and she told him "I am Groot. It's pretty much all he ever--- Wait, that's not what he's saying". But in his bubble it was just groups of lines to indicate it wasn't english.

      Groot has been known to talk before. I think that side of his character is gone for good though.

    I'm still not sure about this movie. When I first heard of it I was excited as I thought it would be the Vance Astro version of GotG. I've never really warmed up to this 'modern day' version of Guardians, although I may check it out.
