Tyler Bates Scoring Guardians of the Galaxy

Director James Gunn announced today on Facebook and Twitter that longtime collaborator Tyler Bates - the composer of Slither, Super, and Zack Snyder's 300 and Watchmen - will write the score for Guardians of the Galaxy.

According to Gunn's Facebook post, Bates writes his music during production so that they "blare the score on set so that the cast, crew, and camera can move in harmony with" it.
