Today, Marvel Comics is releasing Star-Lord: Annihilation Conquest to comic stores all over the country. This book is a compilation of Star-Lord: Annihilation Conquest #1-4, written by Keith Giffen, back in 2007.
This series was a gamechanger, being the first time Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot, all three appeared in a comic together. It also was the first series to feature Star-Lord in his extremely popular mask, which he will be wearing in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy film (we're very glad to say). The issue is $7.99 USD.

ReplyDeleteAwesome. Anyone who has not read these, should. As mentioned in the article, it was when Peter Quill, Rocket, and Groot all met (Bug and Mantis are in there, too). All of whom would later be part of the Guardians of the Galaxy. It is essentially, pre-Guardians of the Galaxy.
