DeleteEven after seeing this tease, I still think Guardians will be Marvel's next worldwide billion dollar hit. BTW, tho things: the final CGI looks on Rocket Raccoon and Groot look off the chain and it appears this clip confirms the trailer description reported by latinoreview.com.

DeleteIt's hard to get hits. Sometimes you are tempted to pounce on a rumor. I've learned the hard way not to do that. We had Sean Gunn casted as Rocket Raccoon. Turns out he only played him on the set. Since then, no more "rumors".

ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll change my mind when the film comes out but I don't really like the idea of any of the core 5 Guardians having romantical relationships with each other, it feels Quills dating his sister, Maybe it's just me? Also Peter Quill is in direct violation of the Bro Code!

DeleteThat was my first reaction, but it was suggested that perhaps Gamora uses her feminine wiles on Peter at some point. This teaser is just designed to make our heads spin over this very thing.
DeleteBecause I personally think making Gamora Peter's love interest would diminish the character a bit. I wouldn't mind some light flirting occasionally, but no romance, please.
Remember how in The Winter Soldier's trailer, Cap and Widow seemed to have something going on between them? Now how did that turn out to be...
DeleteTrue. We won't truly know if they are romantic until the movie comes out. I seriously doubt they would take it as far as a relationship. Could just be a one-time thing.

ReplyDeletethis trailer was outstanding. i love how they made the Guardians look like they gave a damn, between Groot giving the kid a flower, Drax asking what they did with the chance they got, Starr Lord and Gamora about the lock lips, Rocket pondering the thought given by Starr Lord about getting another chance. looks outstanding overall

Delete"Something good...somethin' bad....bit a both..." holy crap, who is this guy, John Wayne?! Pratt's delivery on that line is GORGEOUS! Plus, is Marvel hitting a new standard in stitching these trailers together...or is there just that much wonder in this creation??! Drax, facing down a sky full of villains...Rocket, just short of "you're dead!"...Groot's tender offering to a child....and is Gamora getting her flesh singed off?!? Don't think I've ever wanted to hurry summer before... :)
