Karen Gillan to play Angela in Guardians of the Galaxy?

According to The Daily Record, a Scottish newspaper, Doctor Who's Karen Gillan will be playing none other than former Spawn character Angela. The newspaper describes Angela as "a flame-haired, sword-wielding bounty hunter." They also quote a nameless "Marvel insider" who says the following:

"Karen will be stunning as the chief female villain of the movie. But she will have her work cut out as the role involves a lot of physical workouts and with a costume as revealing, she will have to be in top shape."

Since the newspaper does not state where they got their information, I would take this with a grain of salt. However, since Angela will be joining the Guardians of the Galaxy comic in issue #5, it makes this a little more likely. What do you think? Leave a comment below!
