Cosmo Tuesday Poll Results: 8/20/13

The poll results are in! The question was 'What did you think of the leaked Guardians of the Galaxy footage?' And this week, the winning answer is...

It was great!

 87% seemingly loved the footage that leaked out from D23, while 6% thought it was just "okay." 6% said they didn't even watch the footage.

Adam Warlock is a Marvel character with such a large and complex history. Most longtime fans of Cosmic Marvel stories know how large a role he has played in the comics, especially in The Infinity Gauntlet. Our question is...

    The poll results are not very surprising. That footage was about as close to objectively awesome as you can get.

    As far as this week's poll goes... I saw yes. Adam's a former Guardian (and an important cosmic character, as you mentioned). Would be great to see him in the movie.

      I hope that he is at least in GOTG2, if they make it. They could really build up his character for Avengers 3, which hopefully will be an Infinity Gauntlet story.

    To be honest, I don't think it would be a great idea to do Adam in the first movie as he's got a complex story, and there would be a risk of doing too much considering everything that is already going on in the movie. However, he is a hugely important character to the cosmic side of the Marvel Universe and I would love to see him done at some point. I think the best case would be if there's maybe a few little nods or references to him in Guardians, and then maybe build on those and bring him into a sequel as a major character. At the end of the day, he was too important of a character in the cosmic side of things, and the Guardians and they're mythology itself, to not be included in the films at some point. And The Magus would be a lot of fun to see explored on screen at some point, too. But here's a question, who would you guys like to see play him?

      I'm all about casting unknowns with acting ability, but if I had to go with somebody well known, I'd say Ryan Gosling. Probably a terrible casting decision though.

      Gosling could be a pretty good choice. He is a good actor, so it could work. I was certain when they announced his involvement that Lee Pace would be Adam Warlock, but he's a great choice for Ran The Accuser, too.

      That would be cool but they may wait for the sequel to introduce more Guardians
